Andrea Watkins
SPARKLING STAR

Andrea Watkins is the Office Manager for Mercy Primary Care Center. She joined MPCC in 2002 and has been the Center's Office Manager since 2004. Andrea is a loving wife and fantastic mother to her three children. She is also the First Lady of her church and loves to sing in the choir. Andrea is known for her great sense of style, especially her shoes. She is Mercy’s Sparkling Star for many reasons – from her own sparkling personality and impeccable taste to how hard she works to make sure the Center is clean and fresh.

Andrea is a spunky, energetic and loving person. She is also respectful, forthright and extremely professional. As office manager, she works hard to make sure that the Center runs as smoothly as possible and handles the daily crises that come up. Andrea is a staunch advocate for MPCC patients and staff. When working on projects for the Center, Andrea makes sure to understand the details of the project, provides thoughtful and honest feedback on how it will work in the Center, and if it impacts others, she speaks up for them to make sure that their needs are considered. Once all the details are in place, she works hard to make sure it gets done well and in a timely manner. Andrea is very organized and helpful to others in the Center. She takes pride in ensuring that the Center remains clean for the patients. Andrea has a big heart and is very kind to the patients, especially the children.

In addition to her other roles as Office manager, Andrea serves as a counselor within the office. Andrea always has her door open for anyone who may need to talk with her about anything. She is personable and easy to talk to. Those that work with her say she is a kind-hearted person and is always willing to listen and help out when needed. This has earned her the nickname "Mother Drea" among those that work with her. She is also known as "Mother Drea" because if there is an infant in the Center, more often than not Andrea is holding it. Andrea has a big place in her heart for infants and children. Children leave MPCC with a smile and feeling extra-special after Andrea has talked with them and made sure they leave with a toy. Also, each summer when there are high school students at MPCC, Andrea mentors them and helps them learn about the working world.

“Andrea is a true star. Continue to be the person you are.”
