Julie Moore
GIVING STAR |
Julie Moore joined Mercy Primary Care Center as a receptionist in 2004. Before joining Mercy Primary Care Center, Julie worked for twenty-two years at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI, which is also part of the Trinity Health family. Julie is a loving wife, who is dedicated to helping others. She also has a soft spot in her heart for animals and cares for a small menagerie at home.
Her Mercy family has many things to say about her giving and caring heart. Julie is a very kind and always willing to help anyone who needs it. She is also a wonderful friend and she is a very hard worker. Julie is truly generous and she would give anyone the shirt off her back. She is nice to the patients and clients of MPCC and the SPA. Julie always has a quick joke to make you smile regardless of how you are feeling. She is also known for her famous line, “You want to dance.”
Julie is dedicated philanthropist. She has helped with meals for the SPA clients and ran a snack room from which part of the proceeds went to the SPA program. Julie enjoys entertaining and even in her social life she finds a way to give back. Guests to gatherings in her home often bring items that can be used in the SPA or emergency pantry. She is always on the lookout for new fund-raising opportunities for the Center. In addition, Julie looks for ways to help in the larger community and has raised funds for breast cancer research.
